BHHF donated the amount of $52,000 to renovate and re-equip the physiotherapy center in Dar al Ajaza Al Islamiya in Tripoli. This center offers physical rehabilitation sessions for the elderly and for outpatients. The latter pay a discounted amount for these sessions and the income generated help the center to become self-sufficient and covers its expenses.
On average 20 sessions take place every day. In total more than 5,000 sessions are offered along the year. In addition, this center is listed as a training facility for physiotherapy students.
